Dr Huang Han is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Software, South ChinaUniversity of Technology. He is a candidate of the National Young Talents Project, CCF Distinguished member and EEE Senior member and also serves as an international academic journal lEEE Transaction on Evolutionary Computation (IF: 11.554) as the Associate editor. He is also the Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Big Data and Intelligent Robotics of the Ministry of Education, Chairman of Software Engineering Professional Steering Committee of Undergraduate Universities in Guangdong Province, Secretary-general of Software Engineering Special Committee of Guangdong Computer Society, Leader of Expert group of Guangdong Key Laboratory of Fiscal and Taxation Big Data. He has presided over more than 10 national and provincial major projects, etc. He has published more than 60 papers as either first author or corresponding author in IEEE TCYB, IEEE TETC, IEEE TSE, IEEE TEVC, IEEE TIP and other professional academic journals. Dr FangQing Liu has proposed the Self-adaptive evaluation function (Self-adaptive Fitness Function) for differential evolution algorithm, iFogSim toolkit test case automatic generation method based on differential evolution and relationship matrix and a Manifold search based test case automatic generation algorithm (Manifold-Inspired) (MISA). He is also part of the project team that proposed an automated software test case generation algorithm for path-oriented coverage in order to solve the technical problem of difficult test case design in finding hidden defects. The algorithm maximizes the path coverage under the premise of limited number of test cases. The average path coverage rate is 18.58%, 21.66%, 45.02% and 44.68% higher than the four mainstream methods based on search in the field of software engineering, respectively. In the technical problem of defect detection of software unknown program logic, the project team proposed the white-box method of complex software system. After the Impementation of the simplification operator the number of variables (with uncertain assignment) decreased to varying degrees, with a maximum reduction of 67.2% and an average reduction of 42.5%. The overall performance of the NS algorithm ranks first in the world.
